Great little mom n pop stop, everyone here is super friendly and helpful, diner has that home town backwoods feel to it and the food was great, will return in the future

Best food..good price good service

Great, local place to go for breakfast. The food is cooked well, tasty and great value. I got the special that included eggs, sausage links, hash browns and biscuit and gravy. One tip, you can ask for your bacon to be extra crispy if you don't like lightly cooked bacon. My brother got their burger and said it was awesome.

Used to love this place for it's old school homestyle food and great portions and decent prices, but recently I have noticed that they have been trimming down the portions of their entrees. A couple years ago I got almost twice the slice of meatloaf as now. Apparently greed has taken over and they have removed the #1 reason I loved them. I could understand them trimming the size if they also lowered the prices, but at close to $10 a plate, I honestly won't eat there nearly as much. Still have great southern down home service and food, but I can't recommend as highly as before because they shrunk the portions. Having big portions is a staple of southern eating. Without that, there are other options that are just as good or better.

Bacon was very good. My 5yr old granddaughter ordered pancake and it came shaped like mickey mouse..She loved that. Food was good as always.

Great food, big portions, extremely friendly, and most importantly for this long haul trucker--there's plenty of truck parking on a Thursday evening. Will definitely be coming back.

This is a truck stop so you know they have good food. Best home cooked meals in the Rocky Mount area. Great staff, too. Very good when they're full. They know how to handle it. You'll end up making friends with the staff here.

I'd say I'm surprised but small places like this are usually the best places to eat. This place was amazing I had the country fried steak and black eye peas. Service was fast and the young man was very friendly. I look forward to coming back. I would definitely recommend this place.

Coming in here is like stepping back into the 60s!! It's a family-run truck stop and the people are super nice, it's very old school. I had dinner last night and breakfast this morning in both were super delicious just like Mama would make and the prices are very good 10 bucks or less for a great meal!!

One of my favorite spots in Franklin co. Food is always great! Service is always great! I used to eat here quite often before I started my new job. Trust and believe it's better than most truck stops I've ever been to.

My husband and I stopped here on our way home from Roanoke. The food was delicious and hot. The staff was extremely nice. We will definitely eat here again. The price was very reasonable and the portions were big!
